Belle Plaine dentist, Tasha Strait, of Strait Smiles Family Dentistry, explained to Ethan Rajendralall, 3, of Belle Plaine, proper dental hygiene last Friday, Feb. 7, during Give Kids a Smile, a statewide initiative to provide dental care to children in need. Rajendralall joined his sister, Ria, for a session on Friday. They helped 29 kids with dental needs.

Dr. Strait was also a guest on WCCO’s Mid-Morning Show on Feb. 3 talking about the Give Kids a Smile! program.

Since ‘Give Kids a Smile’ began over 15 years ago, Minnesota dentists have provided free care to nearly 65,000 young children and donated services valued at more than $20 million.
